About Us

Gates is the Founder & CEO of We The People Media LLC, and host of "We The People with Gates Garcia," a podcast that celebrates pro-America athletes, musicians, actors, entertainers, authors and business leaders. He is also a Blaze News Contributor, writing for and appearing on the platform. Active in his community, he currently serves on The Catholic University of America Busch School of Business Board of Visitors and was the recipient of the 2024 Richard and Jacqueline Lincoln Fellow for The Claremont Institute.

Gates earned his bachelor’s degree in media studies from The Catholic University of America and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida. He resides in Tampa, Florida with his wife and three children. Gates and his wife strive to lead a life guided by their Catholic faith and they are actively involved in their church. Ultimately, though, he’s just a regular guy who enjoys reading, exercising, bourbon and cigars.
